The Division evaluates the drug-forming properties of candidate compounds such as solubility, stability, and pre-formulation.

The Division develops micronization and solid dispersion treatment for insoluble drugs to improve solubility and to solve gastrointestinal absorption problems.

The Division is also responsible for following up on the CMC studies of external CROs to meet Phase II clinical filings and clinical sample production.
